Job 35-37 Psalm 143

I think we’ve all been in places like this Psalm, where we are just crying out to God, desperate for answers and guidance.

There’s some comfort in knowing we aren’t alone in that. Some comfort in knowing that ‘heroes of the faith’ get desperate, too. Some comfort knowing that getting tired, feeling lost, even doubting, doesn’t mean we are lost, doesn’t mean that we have failed.

Our faith is still valid, even when it doesn’t feel particularly strong. Our faith is perhaps even more admirable when we are feeling desperate and yet still we choose to wait on God.
